UAF Police is at 1788 Yukon Drive, Fairbanks, AK 99775 and the main phone is (907) 474-7721. Booked suspects are held at the Fairbanks Correctional Center at 1931 Eagan Avenue. The FCC phone is (907) 458-6700.
The fastest way to find College jail mugshots is VINE. VINE is free and open to the public. The tool updates every 15 minutes for Alaska jail facilities. Search by full or partial name at vinelink.com or call 1-800-247-9763. You can set up text or email alerts when custody status changes. VINE shows the inmate name, facility, charges, bail, and a photo if one is on file.
College jail mugshots are not posted on a public page. To get a booking photo, file a records request with the Alaska Department of Corrections for state-held photos. For an on-campus UAF case, the photo request may go through UAF Police records. Include the booking number and spell out what you want as "booking photograph." Release depends on AS 40.25.120 privacy rules.

UAF Police Handle Campus Cases
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Police Department is a full state-certified agency. UAF PD works all cases inside the campus footprint in College. The station is at 1788 Yukon Drive. The main phone is (907) 474-7721. Dispatch runs 24/7. UAF Police handle arrests, reports, and campus safety calls. The agency has mutual aid with Fairbanks PD and the Alaska State Troopers. Booked suspects from a UAF case are moved to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.
Records from UAF PD go through a records unit on campus. You can file a records request by email or in person. The agency charges copy fees and may redact info under AS 40.25.120 and FERPA. Crime logs are posted online under the Clery Act. Crime stats for the campus are published each fall. The Clery log can be read at the main UAF police page.
Some College cases are worked by the Alaska State Troopers rather than UAF PD. Troopers take the case if the arrest happens off campus or crosses into an unincorporated zone. Records for trooper cases go through the DPS public portal at dpsalaska.justfoia.com/publicportal. The main DPS page is at dps.alaska.gov. Fees apply after 5 hours of staff time under AS 40.25.110.
Note: College campus cases held by UAF PD may be subject to FERPA if the subject is a student of the university.
Fairbanks Correctional Center
The Fairbanks Correctional Center is the main jail for College bookings. FCC is run by the Alaska Department of Corrections. It is at 1931 Eagan Avenue, Fairbanks, AK 99701 and the phone is (907) 458-6700. The facility has 307 beds. It holds pretrial detainees, sentenced misdemeanants, and some felons waiting on transfer. Long-term inmates may be moved to Goose Creek Correctional Center in Wasilla. Women go to Hiland Mountain Correctional Center in Eagle River.
To check if a College suspect is held at FCC, use VINE or call the main line. Staff can confirm custody status by name and date of birth. Bail amount and next court date can also be shared. Booking photos must be requested through the DOC records unit. FCC does not release photos by phone or email. Visiting is by appointment and visitors must be on the inmate's approved list.
A sample FCC booking record has these fields: booking number, date and time, full name, date of birth, sex, race, height, weight, hair and eye color, home address, charges with AS cites, warrant info, bail, housing unit, and next court date. The image record sits in a separate system under AS 12.62.180. Release of the photo depends on the privacy balancing test. A written request with a booking number moves faster than a name-only request.
The Alaska Department of Corrections site is the starting point for any College jail mugshots request sent through state custody channels.

College criminal cases are filed in the Fairbanks Trial Courts. The court sits in the Fourth Judicial District. The clerk is at 101 Lacey Street, Fairbanks, AK 99701. The main phone is (907) 452-9277. CourtView is the free online case search at records.courts.alaska.gov. You can search by party name, case number, or ticket number. Most cases show up within a day of filing.
A case page shows charges, bail, hearing dates, and the jail where the suspect is held. Copy fees run $2.50 per page for uncertified copies and $5 plus $2.50 per page for certified ones. To get paper copies by mail, use the Alaska public courts portal. The portal has forms, fees, and mail-in info.
Juvenile records are sealed under AS 47.12. Most pre-1990 case files are not in CourtView. Sealed and expunged cases need a court order. Call the Fairbanks court clerk direct for older files.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator tracks federal custody back to 1982. The troopers also publish arrests on the daily dispatch feed.
Note: College residents who need their own arrest history can file a free request under AS 12.62.160 with the DPS records unit.
